Andy has been serving at EHBC since October 1, 2011. Born in 1969, Andy is a native of Western Kentucky (Possum Trot) where he graduated from Marshall County High School in 1987. Andy met his wife Debbie while attending Western Kentucky University. He graduated from WKU with a B.A. in History and Government (1991) and a Masters of Public Administration (1992). Andy then graduated from this Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity and again, in 2006, with a Doctorate of Education.

Andy and Debbie have two adult children: Dakota (daughter) and Duncan (son). Before coming to EHBC, Andy served as the Minister of Education at Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Debbie is a school teacher for the Ohio County Board of Education.  Andy is also an Associate Professor for Liberty University’s School of Divinity’s online program.

When Andy is not pastoring, preaching, teaching, writing, researching, or serving the church, he can be found playing with his granddaughter Layla, golfing, hunting, reading, camping, or watching football or hockey. Despite his many roles, Andy’s favorite title is “dad”.
